Working Principle of Water Cooled Scroll Chiller
Step-by-step operation:
Compressor:
- Scroll compressor compresses refrigerant gas (low-pressure) to high pressure and temperature.
Condenser (Shell & Tube):
- Heat is removed from the refrigerant by water circulation, causing it to condense into a liquid.
Expansion Valve (TXV/Capillary):
- Reduces the pressure and temperature of the liquid refrigerant.
- Evaporator (SS Coil / PHE / Shell & Tube):
- Chilled water absorbs heat, and the refrigerant evaporates to start the cycle again.
